The Shield guys have done two jobs for us. The first was tuck pointing our building and the second was concrete work and garage floor replacement. Both were done professionally and quickly for a reasonable cost. I appreciate that they came in, did their work completely, and cleaned up after with no drama or pressure to add work. We’ll definitely call them back for the next job!

"This is a followup to our review from a couple years back for a complete roof tear-off and replacement Jerry's crew from R K Roofing did for us. They also repaired some fascia and gutters at that time that needed it before the roof could be completed. They did a great job and followed up afterward. Since that time Jerry has twice responded in a timely manner to our concerns of suspected storm damage to shingles and what seemed to be a leaky skylight in the dead of winter. The former issue they resolved promptly and the latter they are still working on."

"Great! Jerry’s team did a complete tear off and roof replacement and provided a ten year parts and labor warranty per our quote requirements.(see our previous review from 2017). At that time we reserved our judgement awaiting the test of time. Since then we had a couple minor concerns. First some dripping from our new skylight over the winter of 2018/19. Owner Jerry was helpful, responsive and whenever we made contact. That dripping problem we learned was only condensation during the 24-30 below zero temperatures we experienced that winter."

The Freedom Roofing responded fast to my request for an estimate. The estimate was very reasonable in comparison to others. The actual work was also done fast and nicely. It was a hot summer day, but the crew members worked hard and completed the job just in a day. I was satisfied.

Kelly was great. We had a leaking coming into a 6th floor unit from the roof, and, with the fast service (reviewed the job on Friday) and repair (completed the next day), we caught a lucky break in the weather. Now we are good to go for this week's projected snow and/or rain. The workers were knowledgeable and efficient, and all materials were removed. Chicago Star deserves their high rating.

Had Kelly and his crew out a roof inspection on a house I had under contract. Easy to schedule and good communication. There is a cost for the estimate, but it goes towards repairs if you use them. For me, the cost was well worth the knowledge they gave me on the condition of the roof. They explained everything very clearly and I found their bid very fair. Great company and highly recommend.

I initially spoke with Kelly on the phone after having discovered water damage on my ceiling. He was professional and responsive, sending John to my home the same day for a diagnosis. John and his crew were able to come out a couple days later to clear ice build up and seal the damage made to my roof.
