To Whom it May Concern: I am the Quality Control Manager employed by W & J Construction Corporation on the Taft US Army Reserve center addition/alteration, Orlando Florida. The bearer; Mr Richard W Geil was the project manager in charge for the installation of a Firestone modified Bitumen Roofing System including tapered insulation and related flashing and sheet metal. Richard is one of the few project managers I have been associated with that thoroughly reads, uses, and complies with the contract specifications. He is very knowledgeable of roof construction drawings and execution of same. Richard knows how to proceed when information is lacking or unclear. Richard works well with his people, quality control representatives and government employees. Unlike most project managers he works right alongside with his people on all phases of roof construction. Most important, Richard is very cost and profit conscious and would be a great asset to any employment situation.

We hired Richard’s Roofing Inc. to re-shingle our roof and we are very pleased with the company’s excellent performance throughout the process. Richard’s Roofing Inc. minimized the difficulty. A previous contractor re-shingled our roof after the hurricanes of 2004 and a short 7 years later shingles were falling off, this included major leaks also appearing. Subsequently upon Richards’ Roofing Inc. tearing off the old roof, Mr. Geil discovered all the underlayment, flashings and shingles were installed improperly. While dealing with the insurance company for over a year and a half, Hough Roofing stood by us throughout that ordeal, keeping our roof covered with tarps.
