We had a list of repairs - garage fascia repairs, velux window replacement and one to fit a new kit and fix leak entering loft space, replacing broken tiles, resetting chimney pots, and sorting out two leaking gutters. In the last two years I have had occasion to use York Roofer for four separate jobs, Ridge tile resetting, End Caps front and rear to prevent decline of the original cement finish/pointing. Replacement of the Garage and Front Entrance Hall Flat roofs with EPDM finish, the Entrance Hall had suffered a serious failure due to water ingress. Recently I have had the polycarbonate roof of a conservatory replaced with a 'warm roof' comprising insulation new boarding a GRP Fibreglass finishing layer and matching UPVC Panels to complete the internal ceiling. The York Roofer team Herbert Joseph and Ricky have been very professional in all work undertaken. The various jobs were discussed in full, best solutions put forward and work completed quickly and efficiently . I am very pleased with the end results exactly as discussed and agreed. I have no hesitation in recommending York Roofer.

A flat roof on our property was showing signs of damp coming through. The covering was tarred felt, and its replacement was long overdue. Herbert from York-Roofer came and examined the roof, took photos to show me the state of the old tarred felt, and discussed the options and his recommendation for replacing it. The work was carried out in a day and a half, and we were shown photos of the roof with its new rubber covering. I had also mentioned rain coming in down the bedroom chimney breast during storms, and this was also fixed with new lead flashing round the chimney stack, also photographed so we could see the result. York-Roofer offers a friendly and efficient service at a fair price, and I am happy to recommend them.

I received a few recommendations for roofers, but after having a few come out and provide prices, I went with Weather-Tite Roofing. I just purchased a home and the previous home-owner had neglected the roof on the house and the garage. Prior to settlement, the estimator came out and provided a detailed quote for the work that was required. When I made settlement, they were out the next day and fixed everything. They even fixed the chimney and re-secured some of the capping and gutters that had come loose in a storm after they were out to estimate the job. Overall a great experience, very professional and very helpful. I would highly recommend using Weather-Tite Roofing.

I’m very fortunate to have run into Al when I did. I inherited an older home and had no idea about the roof. I knew there was a leak but thought it was coming from somewhere else. It turns out I had multiple leaks. Al and his guys tarped my house until insurance would cover the costs. They were so nice and informative. I don’t know anything about roofs, so I appreciated the way he took his time explaining things to me. He used the hose to find where the leak was coming and assessed very well. After ripping off shingles, doing repair work, then redoing shingles, the house looks almost new! He cleaned out gutters in the back and replaced the old gutters up front as well as window capping. It looks so clean. We have plans to begin siding next week after the rain passes and possibly new metal. Throughout all of it, Al kept good communication on pricing and scheduling. Very professional and would recommend.

I had a terrible leak on my shingle roof last week and asked my family for a reliable roofer. From them I got put in contact with Uncle Al’s roofing and Al came right out for an estimate within a day and scheduled me just a couple days later.
