Over the past three years! I have used Edward's Roofing for my roofing and plumbing. In this instance, anytime we had heavy rain or thunderstorms, I had water pouring down from the back of my roof and it appeared to be coming from the gutter or behind the gutter in a particular section of the roof. Edward's made an assessment of the problem and diagnosed that the gutter needed replacement as it was no longer properly affixed and the wood at the edge of the roof leading into the gutter was old and splintering. At his suggestion, I went up with him to the roof and I could clearly see for myself exactly what he diagnosed. The gutter was dilapidated and the wood on the edge of the roof was dried and splintering. He removed the existing gutter and installed a new one, he installed new wood boards on the back of the roof, covered the wood boards with tar paper, I believe, then covered that with flashing and a final covering of Firestone rubber. He overlapped the rubber over the edge of the gutter which ensures an even tighter seal.

After years of hiring/paying for roofers who came to my home, told me everything was taken care of with my very bad leak, only to find that the issue was not addressed, I called Hugh and asked if he would come look at the problem, advise me of how he would resolve the issue and give me an estimate. i started doing my roof a week before thanksgiving of 2017. after being left high and dry from my other roofing contractor (interstate roofing out of new jersey, owner: santino Costello) and leaving my roof incomplete and open to the elements. i spoke to Hugh from William and Hugh roofing and explained what my situation was. Hugh agreed to help me out. so, the week of thanksgiving 2017 Hugh and his crew came over bright and early the next morning and did exactly what they said they were going to do. they ripped off the remaining roof that was left undone from the previous contractor, installed 3/4 inch plywood throughout the entire roof. then installed the torch down firestone rubber roof. they are not master carpenters, by any means. buy, they got the job done within 2 days. the price was a little high. but, i was in desperately in need. i would defiantly recommend to all needing a roofer.

Work done on time on budget with a few design tweaks which they were happy to do ad-hoc, 1 large flat roof and a small flat roof plus new gutters soffits etc. The guys worked fast and smart and were very tidy, a great job well done A1 service would use again.
