"2600 sq ft roof surface with multiple pitches. At $11,500 the bid was $10,500 less than Lowes. Started work 10 days later (Lowes said a month). Day 1 , 8:00 am, knock on door ... checking in ...8:05 on the roof starting tear off..by noon tear off done and working on prep....by end of day half the underlayment on. Day 2, courtesy knock on door at 8:00 am and then on the roof and working....completely finished by end of day. But the little things are what caught my attention.. end of each day walked the perimeter twice first with magnet to pick up nails, then broom and rake to pick up trash and gravel. Hard working crew.... coordinated work flow...friendly. Left my dish up an extra day so we would have tv that night. A very detailed contract (Lowes sent a brief email note for their bid). Through extensive research I had found San Diego County Roofing and Solar for my roofing needs. Being that I also have solar panels that needed to be removed and replaced that was a plus. San Diego Roofing and Solar provided us with a above reasonable quote, and they performed their duties with above and beyond expectations. I found them to be professional, honest, dependable and efficient. Their team worked like clockwork on completing the job on time. Each day the team clean up whatever debris they had made that day. They were very detailed throughout the whole process. Communication was unsurpassed. We are aware there are many roofing companies out there and I believe I had found the best. SD County Roofing did a great job. I had a complete re-roof but also had to do fairly extensive ventilation work. Other roofers did not want to do the work as they said they didn't have the expertise. SD County Roofing came to the house, went into the attic/crawl spaces and designed the solution.
