Several months ago, Jenks was hit by strong straight winds, rain, and hail. Soon afterward my family and I were bombarded and harassed by a number of roofing companies ringing our doorbell, telling us we had roof damage. We would thank them and tell them we were not interested. After doing this for a number of weeks and many roofing companies, I thought perhaps we should have our roof accessed for any damages. I began researching all the roofing companies that had left their business cards. I read all the reviews about the different companies and narrowed it down to one company. I called the roofing company and before I could put the phone down they were knocking on my door. I spoke with their representative. The following week our Insurance adjuster came out and assessed the damages. Before climbing off the roof he spoke with the representative and asked him to join him up onto the roof. The roofing company representative proceeded to say that he never gets up on the roof. Well, that was the end of that! I don’t believe I have ever been more embarrassed, and the worst part was this guy had lied to me. So I let the roof thing slide. A couple of weeks later our next-door neighbor had their roof replaced and the roofing company representative knocked on our door. He went on to tell my wife that our roof had some shingles missing and had wind and hail damage. Well, you could just imagine what I had to say! A few weeks later that representative knocked on the door and this time I answered the door. We spoke for a bit and I agreed to let him have his “inspection team” come and assess the roof damage. The representative was very professional and informative. He came to the house and presented his findings.
