In May 2015, Bruce Lamprecht approached Kirk Maynord with an offer to purchase the company. Bruce had developed some back issues that prevented him from carrying on his day-to-day work as a roofing contractor. Bruce and Kirk have been friends for over 25 years and he didn’t want to sell to just anyone. Bruce offered to continue to lend his expertise but allow Kirk to purchase and run the company.

Bass Roofing and Siding, INC., continued to serve the OKC Metro following Bruce’s commitment to provide a quality product with integrity and honesty. Kirk continued to build on that principle by shying away from door knocking and building the business through word of mouth and strong relationships with realtors and insurance agents. Bass Roofing and Siding, INC. continued to grow, doubling in revenue each year. In 2020 the company had grown enough for Kirk to bring on some additional team members. Longtime friend Dan Grimes joined as a salesman and home improvement consultant. Together, along with Bass’s main contractor James Walden, have expanded the business across the state, requiring the name to be changed to Bass Roofing of Oklahoma.

Bass Roofing of Oklahoma is involved in projects around the state that range from Residential/Commercial re-roofs, re-framing, siding, painting, re-modeling, concrete repair, brick and mortar repair, etc. We also do roof and roof leak, fence, garage doors, soffit, fascia, and framing repairs. There is no job to big or small for Bass Roofing to handle.

Kirk’s professional background is in sales and corporate ownership, having run a multi-million-dollar technology-brokering corporation since 1998, Solid Technologies, Inc. He also has a background as a professional golfer, having qualified for and played in 3 out of 5 U.S. Senior Open Championships he attempted. He played full time tournament golf in the mid-1990s as well as on the golf team at OSU in the late ‘70s and early ‘80s.

Kirk bought Bass Roofing in 2015 from Bruce Lamprecht, building it from a $100,000+ company, to a $1M+ company by 2019 on his own. In 2020 he hired his son Dustin to assist in the growth of the company building
