Metal Valleys will ensure proper water flow , excellent ice damming protection, and it will out last your shingles so you can even use it for the next roof in 30 years from now! A metal valley not only looks good but it is the best performance valley hands down! Ridge Caps and Hip Caps These are shingles specifically designed for the use on Hips and Ridges. Some other "Guys" will use 3 tab shingles to make hip and ridge caps. That is not the best practice. We use the manufacturers recommended Hip and Ridge Cap that will fit your roofing system. Copper Copper is a time tested product that not only enhances your but also to protects it.
