Depending on the condition of your roof, our lead expert Kirt Kobashigawa will customize a treatment plan that's right for you! With his experience in building homes from the ground up, Koolau Roof Tech's Roof Health Assessments are done with close attention to detail and accuracy to identify potential problematic areas to help homeowners avoid premature roof failure.
At the initial consultation our roofing expert will examine your roof for leaks and shingle deterioration such as granule loss, roof flexibility, shingle cracking and curling. He will also examine your vents, flashing and identify areas of algae build-up. The condition of your roof will help us determine our recommended level of treatment. You will receive a final report of findings and recommendations.
On the day we are scheduled to treat your roof we will do a complete roof tune-up and repair any minor damage to avoid premature roof failure. Our roof rejuvenation treatment will smother and kill moss and algae growth, making your roof clean 4-6 months after treatment. For our customers with silicone coated roofs, we do offer a bleach-free cleaning solution that will remove any roof algae, lichen or moss.
Lastly, depending on your roof's condition our Koolau Roof Technician will apply our special Shingle Rejuvenation treatment to extend the life of your roof for another 5-15yrs. When first applied, the treatment will appear white and slowly soak into the shingle restoring its flexibility, granular adhesion and protective top coat. Each treatment is guaranteed for 5yrs.
