Founded in July of 2015, Lyndsey Roofing is a locally owned and operated roofing contractor in Poughkeepsie, NY. Bill Reilly was driven by two factors in starting this company. His desire to help people in his community came first by being a volunteer firefighter / EMT, to working for various companies in the industry since 1987. Those job positions were all customer service based in every aspect from warehouse to installation. Second to that, when Bill's granddaughter Lyndsey was diagnosed with Autism at the age of 4 and could not put sentences together, the outcome was not promising. Lyndsey was enrolled in an Abilities First school. Over the next 16 months she worked very hard and was able to not only put sentences together but speak clearly, but her writing and reading skills excelled. Seeing this hard work from his granddaughter took away any fears of starting a business of his own and drove his desire to help people even more. Bill has built Lyndsey Roofing into a top-rated and highly respected roofing company.
